Laramie, Wyoming
After enjoying our 3 days in Fort Collins and with Carol's brother and his wife we drove up to Laramie. We had a good time with Chris and Dave. A very nice evening with dinner and a fire on the deck, a small tour of U of Wyo. and we really enjoyed our hike at Vedauwoo. All of these photos were taken there. The Vedauwoo area is within Medicine Bow - Rout National Forest and includes a day-use picnic area and an overnight campground. Vedauwoo is a popular climbing area. Mountain bikers and rock climbers come from all over to sample the area's natural beauty. Climbers find some of the best wide crack climbs. The fall colors were spectacular while we were here.

From Montrose to Fort Collins, Co.
We left Montrose and drove over the pass on I70 to Denver then north up I25 to Fort Collins. Another beautiful day, we've been gone for over a month a everyday has been great. 
Cedar Creeks are hooked up and ready to roll. We had a fun time in Montrose and enjoyed the company of Richard, Carol and Jane.

Coming in from the south into Grand Junction, Co.
We stopped at a roadside produce stand and picked up some fresh peaches. This photo was taken around the Glenwood Canyon area.
These two photos were taken just moments apart in the Canyon heading east on I70.
Around Vail the fall colors were magnificent.
The ski runs have snow on them now.
Look at the solid mass of yellow in the upper left. We had to stop several times the colors were stunning.

Saturday, October 4
Billings, Mt.
We haven't had much of a wifi signal for several days. Very weak signal here in RV park in Billings. I'll post photos when we get home.
We have been to Fort Collins, Co. for 3 days, then on to Laramie Wyoming for a day, Buffalo, Wyoming for a day and now we're in Billings and we'll head for home tomorrow. We should get to Kalispell sometime Sunday evening. Our weather has been just wonderful but sounds like that is changing Sunday.
Connection is too weak to upload pictures and I have some beautiful fall color pics to post that we took while crossing the Rockies in Colorado and in Wyoming on a day hike we took with Chris and Dave.
Today we'll spend the day with Ryan, Tricia and Drew. Drew is walking and running all over the place now so he's keeping mom and dad busy.
