Wednesday night we stayed at a very nice KOA close to Peru, Illinois, a couple miles off of I80. Farm land as far as your eye can see so as we were driving to the campground I was just imagining what this KOA must look like. I was pleasantly surprised, what a pretty park. Down in a small valley, hundreds of large old oak trees and beautiful lush green grass with a stream meandering through the park. Very nice hospitable owners/managers.
After we set up we drove into Peru and picked up a few things at the Super Walmart. Then we visited the J.C. Whitney distribution center and retail outlet. If you don't know what J.C. Whitney is, ask an old car buff.
We were up early an ready for our final leg to Goshen, Indiana. Part of the tent and dry camping area at Peru KOA.
