We left Vegas and are now at Needles, California along the Colorado river. After setting up we drove across the river to Arizona and visited the old mining community of Oatman, Arizona. Nestled in the rugged an rocky peaks that border the river this was once a thriving gold mining town. Wild burros run wild over the hills and even in the streets of Oatman. You can find wild burros in many areas of Arizona, their ancestors abandoned by early Spaniards and miners.
WOW! does this road ever end. Sun feels soooo good though. Lovin it!
Wild burro in Oatman.
Wild burros everywhere, even walking down the middle of the street.
No, you can't ride the burro Carol
