Fort Collins:
Another beautiful day, blue skies and in the 80's today. This morning Carol and I drove to LaPorte for breakfast at the locally famous Vern's restaurant. Vern's is on the old highway 287, large, freshly made, delicious cinamon rolls......hmmmm good! I cleaned up my plate but Carol couldn't handle it all.
Later in the day, Chris and Dave arrived from Laramie and we drove to Denver. The Pepsi Center was our destinantion for the Alan Jackson / Brooks & Dunn concert. Started at 7:30 PM. Brooks & Dunn played for 2 hours. Then Alan Jackson (AJ) played for 1 1/2 hours. It could have went on all night, it was fantastic. Both played many of their old songs and a few newer ones. It was a combination of goose bumps, high emotions, singing along and dancing in the aisles. Without a doubt the best concert I've been to.
We didn't get to bed until 1:00 AM
