We left Grand Junction this morning around 10:00 AM. In the 40's this morning but clear sky. We followed I70 leaving Colorado behind and entering Utah. At US 191 we turned south heading to Moab. The closer we got to Moab the more the landscape changed, red rocks, bluffs, canyons, very beautiful. After a couple of stops we checked into our RV park in Moab. Nice park but they do utilize all their space, meaning there isn't much room between sites.
We went for a drive after we were set up. Parked on main street and toured several small shops. Earlier I had made arrangements to rent a smaller 4x4 SUV. We picked it up tomorrow AM and then we'll had out of town exploring, hiking (short ones) and taking pictures. It is forecast to be in the 80's and clear sky's all this week so we should have a great week of touring.
Photos Carol took just north of Moab.

Yeah guys!
Looks like you both are having a WONDERFUL time! Brings back recent memories of our trip out west to Yellowstone and back. Hope that things continue to go smoothly for you. We are enjoying your blog and photos. Carol's getting pretty good at taking those shots out of the front window of the truck.
