Lapeer, Michigan

Early this morning with bags backed we loaded up in our taxi and went to the train station. Leaving Niagara Falls then changing trains in Aldershot then onto Windsor, our starting point (just across the border and river from Detroit). All went well except when we had to stop for a draw bridge soon after leaving Niagara Falls, we had about a 20 minute wait and only had 30 minutes to make our connection in Aldershot. No problem, the train was late from Toronto. Anyway we made it to Windsor around noon, stopped at the duty free store in Windsor and crossed the border and customs. Back in the USA. Stopped on the way to Lapeer at Mark's brothers place and picked up Mitzee and then onto Mark and Sandys for a couple of days before we all head to the Cedar Creek RV Rally in Indiana.

On the edge of the Canadian falls.
Under the falls, going into the tunnel, getting pretty wet, the roar is deafening.
On the "Maid of the Mist" getting up close to both falls. The current jostling this old tug boat around is very strong. Cute rain suits, you get one on the "Maid of the Mist " trip and another on the trip below the falls.
Boarding the "Maid of the Mist". Ask Carol to tell you the story or legend of the "Maid of the Mist".
The Tower in Niagara Falls, I took this photo as we left the Imax theatre heading to the tower to view the falls at night. This was my best shot of the falls at night with the lights turned on. This is the American Falls, it was so beautiful to see in person, sorry the photos didn't turn out as expected.
