Saturday, May 24

Shepherdsville, Kentucky just south of Louisville.
This morning was probably the nicest morning we've seen in Goshen. We were loaded and on the road by 10AM. Following US33 southeast through the farmland and small towns. A pleasant drive and then we came to Fort Wayne and I65. Industry, billboards, factories, cars and trucks all in hurry. We were no longer in the beautiful Indiana country side. We did see the Fort Wayne GM truck factory. We stopped to stretch our legs and get a bite to eat just south of Indainapolis. Continuing on I65 south to Kentucky and Louisville.

After checking in at the RV park, setting everything up we enjoyed a cool one. Very warm, sounds like nice weather in forecast for several days.

Our day was pretty uneventful. We debated on whether to drive a 100 miles out of our way and go to Knightstown, Indiana and the Hoosier gym. Hardcore basketball fans will know what this is. Remember the movie "Hoosiers"? Knightstown, Indiana is where it actually happened.

Tomorrow we plan on going to the Louisville slugger factory or the Jim Beam distillery, quite a combination we promise not to mix the two.

Not much for pictures, my photographer was a sleep.

All is set up....time for a cool one

Hey guys...
We enjoyed the Louisville bat factory tour. If you go there, Carol can take photos of Steve hitting that fast ball and run the bases. We didn't do the distillery. There's a Hard Rock Cafe there in Louisville too! Not sure about any flea markets though. LOL Glad that you were able to find a campground for the holiday weekend.
Have a great time.
