Stopped in Glendive to fuel up, average MPG so far is right at 12. Not far out of Glendive the wind came up and by the time we arrived in Bismarck we were down to 10.2 MPG..

Pompey's Pillar
Pheasant population is strong, pheasants everywhere. Wish we could load a bunch and take them home to supplement our population. What a beautiful bird, at least the roosters.
We’re staying at KOA in Bismarck which has just opened for the season, very nice people. Not much of a crowd.
The big news today is that Carol finished her wool socks. One of her many knitting projects, they look very nice.
Long day tomorrow, driving to Cloquet, Minnesota and I’m afraid we’ll have some high winds.
