Wednesday, May 21

Goshen, Indiana
This morning we had blue skys with a few white clouds. After breakfast we drove to Sears in Elkhart and purchased a small compressor. I needed one to keep accurate tire pressure in trailer and truck.
After Sears we drove to South Bend and with the assistance of "Dottie" ,our GPS, we drove right up Notre Dame Ave. to the center of campus. I was in awe, the architecture, the landscaping and the history. Our first stop was at the book store, that took a while. After the bookstore we walked around the center of campus, several halls, the adminstration building and The Basilica of the Sacred Heart. I was impressed with the landscaping and cleanliness of the grounds. People were very friendly, almost everyone in passing said hello.
After we returned to the park we had dinner and are now watching the final episode of "American Idol".
Tomorrow we have to get up very early so we can get the trailer out to Cedar Creek for some warranty work. Tomorrow night we'll be in a motel if it has Wifi I'll post to the blog.

The Bookstore, if you ever wanted anything with Notre Dame, Fighting Irish on it, they had it here.

M & S,
Hey, had a wonderful time walking around Notre Dame, beautiful campus. Took Creek into factory this AM, Hicks said he thought they could get all the outside completed by Friday afternoon. Curtains, lamp shade will be ordered and shipped to us. Today we drove to Nappanee to Amish Acres---boring! Just another tourist trap.
Later!
