Wednesday, June 4

Nashville, Tn.

Today the weather was hot! In the 90's and humid, thank goodness we had a light breeze.
We left the RV park around 8:30 AM and headed to the Sommet Center in downtown Nashville to pick up our registration packet and tickets. Went smoother than I expected. Afterwards we went back to the CM Hall of Fame. We had toured this on our Gray Lines tour but they only gave us an hour. You could spend a day in there easily. We spent most of the day here and enjoyed a wonderful lunch in their very nice restaurant. Tomorrow Trace Adkins and Trisha Yearwood will be here signing autographs if you buy their book and/or a CD in the Hall of Fame gift shop. I don't think we'll be there for all that craziness.
After we left the Hall of Fame we went a party at the Sommet Plaza, hosted by Chevrolet. Listened to some good country music for a while then we headed back to the RV. We were all pretty tired, the heat really takes it out of you.
Tomorrow will be a long and busy day, I doubt I'll get a post in the blog. Concerts start at 10:00 AM at the riverfront stage then tomorrow night we have the first concert at LP field and at 11:00 PM we have great tickets for another Opry show at the Ryman Auditorium. Carol won these tickets, they gave away 4 tickets at last nights Opry performance, Carol won 2 of them. I think we'll be sleeping in on Friday.

The Detroit Red Wings won the Stanley Cup last night! Just imagine, a few weeks ago, we were posing for our pictures in front of that very same Stanley Cup in Toronto, Ontario, Canada!
