Laramie, Wyoming

After enjoying our 3 days in Fort Collins and with Carol's brother and his wife we drove up to Laramie. We had a good time with Chris and Dave. A very nice evening with dinner and a fire on the deck, a small tour of U of Wyo. and we really enjoyed our hike at Vedauwoo. All of these photos were taken there. The Vedauwoo area is within Medicine Bow - Rout National Forest and includes a day-use picnic area and an overnight campground. Vedauwoo is a popular climbing area. Mountain bikers and rock climbers come from all over to sample the area's natural beauty. Climbers find some of the best wide crack climbs. The fall colors were spectacular while we were here.

Carol and Chris leading the way.The "Yellow brick(leaf) road".A little bouquet of wild daisies on U. of Wyo. campus.

Hey Steve and Carol....The photos were all magnificent! Gee hope I spelled that correctly. LOL I've been playing catch up today on your blog. I started reading your quote and I thought to myself.....wow this Steve is pretty good at expressing himself! Then I read that it was Abraham Lincoln that wrote that. It's a beatiful verse that describes the area! So glad that you had such a wonderful trip. AND....Drew is walking and talking!!! He was just a babe a few months ago!!! --Sandy
