On Friday we toured DRV Luxury Suites factory. Very impressive, we like the Mobile Suites fifth wheel. The quality and construction far exceeds that of Cedar Creek and so does the price. Will we be in a Moblie Suites fifth wheel someday? It wouldn't surprise me. Carol was impressed with our names being flashed on reader board sign at the factory welcoming us and the Anderson's. After touring the factory we visited a local dealer.
Carol and Pam celebrating making it to day 2 by making margaritas. We enjoyed a BBQ and a relaxing evening and only ONE Margarita.

We made it to the Fairgrounds in Goshen just afternoon. I set up everything then we enjoyed some refreshments with fellow Creekers that had arrived early. A little advice to fellow travelers.....AVOID the Indiana tollway! What a rip off, expensive, and one of the worse highways we've been on.

Creek all set up. Flag pole up with U.S. and Montana state flag Our sign hanging on pin box. Visiting with Creeker friends and enjoying a few glasses of wine.

Wednesday night we stayed at a very nice KOA close to Peru, Illinois, a couple miles off of I80. Farm land as far as your eye can see so as we were driving to the campground I was just imagining what this KOA must look like. I was pleasantly surprised, what a pretty park. Down in a small valley, hundreds of large old oak trees and beautiful lush green grass with a stream meandering through the park. Very nice hospitable owners/managers.
After we set up we drove into Peru and picked up a few things at the Super Walmart. Then we visited the J.C. Whitney distribution center and retail outlet. If you don't know what J.C. Whitney is, ask an old car buff.
We were up early an ready for our final leg to Goshen, Indiana.

We have been on the road since Sunday, leaving Missoula early, and spending time in Billings with the family. We got to play on Drew's new swing set and have dinner with them. Then on Monday we were up EARLY and drove late. We went across the southeast corner of Montana on US Hwy 212 through Broadus and on the BelleFourche, SD. Then the LONG and boring ride through the Badlands, arriving in Mitchell about 8:00 PM. We didn't check mileage, but it must have been at least 600 miles! Then this morning we were up early again to find an RV wash to get rid of some bugs (LOTS!) and on the road about 8:30. Today we stayed on I90 all the way across Minnesota and now we are in Oakdale, Wisconsin. That is one state which we hadn't spent the night, so I get to add it to my map. Maybe it isn't a big deal, but it is fun to see how much of the good 'ol USA is getting filled in! We took a little drive to find a restaurant called Smitty's, which the campground host says is a local favorite. Yes, we finally found it and the food was great, and we also saw where all of our cranberries for Thanksgiving are grown--right here in these amazing bogs or marshes or whatever they are called. Tomorrow we will see Illinois and stay west of Chicago, then on the Goshen on Thursday. It is VERY hot here, in the 90's both yesterday and today. Guess when summer comes we better be ready!
Drew's new backyard toy. He had a good time on the slide and swing while we were there
Somewhere between Crow Agency and Broadus, Mt.. We drove through three Indian nations on Monday. The Crow, Cheyenne and Sioux.
National Cemetery at Spearfish, South Dakota.
Wind generators were numerous along I90 in Minnesota.
Crossing the Mississippi River between Minnesota and Wisconsin.

We left Friday for Missoula. I decided to drive through the "Swan", it was such a nice day and we would avoid all the road construction. I would have loved to have just stopped and spend the afternoon enjoying the "Swan".
After arriving in Missoula we set the "Creek" at our site. After freshening up a little we left to help with the graduation party and of course partake in the celebration.
Along the "Swan " highway on a beautiful day.
Home sweet home for a couple days, our camp site in Missoula.

This past week we drove to Seattle to visit Tonya, Kent and the boys. The weather was very nice as you can see by the pictures of the neighborhood water fight.
We went to Aidan and Coopers baseball game on Saturday. Both boys did great. Cooper went 3 for 3 off the pitcher(not off the tee). Aidan did a super job catching his pitchers blazing (seriously, that kid has an arm) fast ball. Aidan had two hits, one landed at the base of the outfield fence the other for a single. Both boys seem to really enjoy baseball. It also keeps mom and dad busy.
Carol's favorite produce stand, just west of Ellensberg we always stop for a break and to pick up some fresh fruit and/or veggies.
Elk fence along the highway heading up Snoqualmie pass.
Jagged mountain tops of the Cascades.
The weather was in the 70's on Friday so no better way to cool off than a water fight. Wish we would have had the power squirt guns when I was a kid.
Aidan getting drenched.

Cooper with a good eye on the ball is about ready to get one of his 3 hits.
There it goes out over the shortstops head into left field.
Noah, the kid of a 1000 faces.
Have you ever seen a duck set on a fence? You have now.

I just loved the landscape shots in the area. Farm land, old house on the hill, a few trees. It wasn't to many years this is all a family needed.
