First Day in Virginia, Monticello

Our first day we toured Monticello, Thomas Jefferson's home. What a special day! Touring Monticello I was amazed at Mr. Jefferson's ingenuity in design and the many inventions he developed in the design and building of his beautiful home. Honored and emotional experience, touring and walking the grounds that one of our greatest founding fathers lived and walked. The same floors, paths and corridors he walked and met with other founders, leaders and explorers of our country.

Walking up the pathway to Mr. Jefferson's beautiful home.

Mr. Jefferson designed every aspect of Monticello, he was an icon of architecture
