Bisbee, Arizona

A nice drive to Bisbee and I was amazed with the mountains and beautiful scenery. The early miners that discovered silver and copper in the area certainly earned their money. A unique town to explore all the Victorian and Art Deco buildings.
Our tour of the historic Queen mine was exciting and educational. Carol even enjoyed the mine tour, I didn't think she would go. Don't forget the mining museum when you go.

Here we go!

Traveling down and down, nice and cool in here.

A small vein of copper ore with some "Bisbee" turquoise. The turquoise is a by product of the copper ore.

Another shaft going somewhere.

Our group learning how to run the equipment and how blast another 7 feet.

Here we are coming back into sunlight

When you need to go there's a miners toilet. No we didn't use it.

The streets of Bisbee.
