Toronto Ontario, Canada
Here we are in Toronto after a great trip. We were on the club car

We left Lapeer early (6:30 A.M.) to reach Detroit and cross into Canada at Windsor, Ontario. Mark, Steve and Sandy are patiently waiting at the station for an 8:30 departure.

included drinks (after 11:00 A.M.) and lunch. We had two of the best stewards who took very good care of us. It was a fun way to travel!
This is the clock tower on Queen Street just down from the Sheraton Centre where we stayed. Downtown Toronto is supposed to be the Canadian version of New York along with their stock exchange on Bay Street (we walked up Bay street to get to the hotel).
This is the view from our room. The curved building with the dome below is the Toronto City Hall. It was great to stay right in the middle of the city within walking distance of great sights and shopping. Steve and I walked across the street on Tues. and through the University of Toronto Law School grounds.
This was taken from the balcony at Jack Astor's (a great new resaurant that had just opened). This is the area that is being developed to be Toronto's Time Square. On the right is the Eaton Center. It is a HUGE shopping mall five stories tall and two blocks long. Toronto also has a huge ungergrond tunnel system called the PATH. You can walk anywhere and never have to go outside. There is shopping all over underground.
This another view of the skyscrapers. Donald Trump is building a Trump Tower which we watched a huge crane hauling up HUGE beams to the top (so far). The ad in the paper said the condos star at $9oo,000!
